On Sunday, May 14, Luke Pak received his First Holy Confession. In the Orthodox Church infants receive Holy Communion as a sacrament during their baptism and chrismation.  The Orthodox Church celebrates the First Holy Commuion of children usually when children are in the second grade.   Luke came to church early on Sunday, May 14th and had his first confession heard by his Pastor, Father John Pribish.  Luke then sat in the front pew with his parents, sister, and grandmother while the Divine Liturgy took place.  Luke recited The Creed with the Altar Boys of the Parish.  Luke then went by himself to recite the Communion Prayer with the faithful and recieve Holy Communion.  Luke has been an Altar Boy for over a year.  He recently attended his second Altar Boy Retreat in Johnstown, PA at Christ the Saviour Seminary with is older brother, John.
