CHURCH PICNIC 2005!!

Church Interior

The Annual Parish Picnic was held on the first Sunday of Fall, September 25th.  Picnic co-chairpersons were Pani Eleanor Pribish and Sonyia Wolsohyn.  Ethnic foods of pirohi, holupki, sauerkraut or cabbage halushki, kielbasi and sauerkraut sandwiches were quite a hit.  Other delicacies included breaded and barbecue chicken, hamburgers, hotdogs and Pani's Famous Chicken Noodle Soup were also eaten throughout the day.  The ladies of the parish contributed many cakes, cookies and other desserts to the picnic.

Besides eating, those attending the picnic participated the Theme Basket Raffle.  16 Adult Baskets and 13 Children's Theme Baskets were raffled off.  Many thanks to our parishioners as well as our local businesses for donating towards the Theme Baskets.  Each hour Gift Cards were raffled off to local and national establishments.  This year a total of 12 Gift Cards were donated.  Thanks again to our parishioners and local businesses for donating prizes for this raffle.  At the end of the picnic the Picnic Raffle was drawn with three winners receiving either: a Basket of Groceries valued at $125;  $100 Mall Gift Certficate or $50 Savings Bond.
